Advanced Microscopy Center in Biology
The Advanced Microscopy Center in Biology provides access to cutting-edge electron and fluorescence microscopy equipment. There are two specialties: electron microscopy and super-resolution fluorescence microscopy. The Advanced Microscopy Center in Biology is administered by the Health Science Center Core Facilities.
The Electron Microscopy Laboratory provides equipment for sample preparation, including high-pressure freezers, routine transmission electron microscopy, tomographic electron microscopy and cryo-electron microscopy for the study of molecular structure. The electron microscopes are administered by the Electron Microscopy Core.
